Designated hitter Jack Cust cracked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the SSB SSB
Tar Heels defeated the Chainsaw Proctologists by the score of 6 to 4 at
Minute Maid Park.

It was a good day for SSB thanks to Cust. He delivered a solo blast in the
2nd inning, lost the ball over the fence for three runs (his 31st of the
season) in the 3rd inning and stroked a single in the 7th inning. Chainsaw
made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs
across.

The win went to Dustin McGowan(3-3) who allowed no runs in 6 innings. McGowan
got relief help from Brad Lidge who gained credit for his 41st save. Vicente
Padilla(9-14) was given the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners
giving up 12 hits and 5 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.

'Just one or two mistakes were all it took to beat us today' Rick Graves said.
'We take these games one day at a time, but this one was hard to take.'
